Super Sunday

What a week!!!  I have to say I feel pretty good!!!!
Fruit and veggie only days went exceptionally well and I want to incorporate into my weekly routine.
I expanded my flavors of smoothies this week!
First was Mango, strawberry, peach, pineapple!  OMG This was AWESOME!  I felt like the guy in the Sonic Commercials - WAKE UP THOSE TASTE BUDS!  DING-A-LING-A-LING-A-LANG!

I love my smoothie to go maker!  I think I got it at Walmart about 3 years ago.  Target now has them in multiple bright colors.  The clear part (the cup) comes off and holds up to 16 oz and the lid is a plastic lid that has a sipping hole with a sliding cover for it. I make my smoothie, slap on the lid and head out the door - fits in my cars cupholder without issue.
The second flavor blast I made was Blueberry Key Lime pie.  OMG it was so good there was no time for picture.  I slurped it down like there was no tomorrow!
To make these wonderful breakfast or anytime treats - I put about 3/4 cup skim or 1% milk, 2 large dolips of low fat vanilla yogurt and then about a 1/2 cup of any frozen fruit and SMOOTH!!!  I used to use sweet n low but with the vanilla yogurt, there is no need!  The kids love these too!!  The blueberry kiwi is only 214 calories for 16 oz!!!!!  I haven't calculated the mango mixture yet.

Friday nights around here we make homemade pizzas.  Well trying to be good I mainly had salad, but did give myself a teeny slice of the cheese on wholewheat crust.  I thought I had a good salad to pizza ratio.  Note that is a regular sized dinner place and see how small that slice of pizza is?  Plus I had more salad after that!



What else did I discover this weekend?  I discovered that if you heavily mulch for an hour, a 175 lb person would burn 413calories!!!  If you only moderately mulch, only 318.  
Well yesterday, we heavily scooped mulch from the root hole the old tree was ground into the back of my husbands pick up truck, then once we got it to the back yard, I unloaded that same mulch and shoveled it into the tree beds.  About 4-5 times.  I'd say that is heavy mulching!!!  My upper body has no strength!  Definitely sore today!
